hola!

hola! ¿como estas? well, i´m here! it´s been pretty crazy, but good so far! when we got here monday night, we got onto a bus and they took us on a really fun 2 hour ride to get to our camp. we´ve been having sessions everyday so far and just learning about what to do and what to expect. it´s been really good, but i´m excited to get to go out to our village. tomorrow will be the last day we´re at the camp, so we´ll head back to lima saturday morning. today, some new friends and i left the camp during our free time (don´t worry dad and mom, we´re allowed to leave) and found this internet cafe. i´m pretty excited we found this haha! there are already so many stories that i can´t wait to share. i´m really excited about what´s going to happen in our village this summer! i met my team, and they are all really cool, so i´m excited about getting to know them better. i haven´t really been able to see much of peru yet because we came straight to the camp, and it´s completely closed off from the city. this weekend i´ll get to see a lot of lima though, so that will be great! well, i need to head back to camp now, but i should be able to go to another internet cafe this weekend. miss you guys! thanks for your prayers!

It's Here!

Well, I'm leaving in the morning, and I'm so excited! Maybe a little nervous too, but thats expected. I know God is going to do amazing things, and I'm so humbled and excited that I get to be a part of it. Everything is all packed up and I'm ready to go. Pray for safety in my travels, and for God's provisions on the trip. I can't wait to see the power of prayer, it never ceases to amaze me.

Romans 12:11- 13 just completely amazed/ convicted/ encouraged me. I love what it says, and it is a constant reminder of what God calls us to. Here's what it says...
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers! I truly do appreciate them!
